AYCC
Hey Guys!
We're thinking of joining VISEN to the AYCC more formally...hoping that it will give us a bit more stability.
What does everyone think?

Re: AYCC
I think that's a really cool idea...
If we branch out more with VISEN, it might result in more people figuring out who we are and hopefully joining us to make it all a bit more proactive...
A bit stagnant at the moment really.
Does anyone know if there's going to be another LEAP? Because if there is, we might get a few new members.

Re: AYCC
I think a long while ago, the pilot LEAP - there was some extent of discussion with also having ties with "ASEN" - Australian Student Environment Network, you'll also not the name bears some similarity.
This idea was neglected for a while, until it sat quietly in the history of the internet.
I think, if we wanted to revamp VISEN, we'd need to make a few key changes. IMO - it'd probably be having people in formal positions. As at current there is no 'one person' for VISEN as an organisation to go to for certain things. If we introduced some structure, I believe this will greatly help. It also introduces some accountability.
Retaining VISEN under it's current premises may require fine tuning, but the direction from AYCC will be extremely valuable.

The Met is Chris Tagle, I think you met him at LEAP last year Pheobe?
Um, I guess maybe we can talk about it more at the meeting on Sunday. Getting T-shirts...should be ready to start printing soon
