7th October: Carpark Picninc
For which, by the way, we totally need to come up with a better name!!!
Yup, so, my housemates think it's a fabulous idea. They have offered to bake many goodies!!! How's the astroturf pricing going, Nikkola?
Oh! Actual Event Info!!!
What:A picnic on the side of the road
When:6am-9am (turn up for as long as you can) on the 7th of October
Where:Not entirely sure...ATM we're thinking near the courts on the cnr of William St and Lonsdale St
Who: Lots of cool high school students
Bring:Food, thermos', picnic rugs...pretty much anything you like

Sounds awesome, I think Wednesdays a good day. And I'll make heaps of food the night before, maybe some honey-joys and.... muffins.
Was i going to do anything? Ow yeah! Was i designing the posters or something? Because i can do that since the holidays are coming up and I'll have heaps of time. Anyone have any ideas about how you want it to look? And yeah, we need a cool catchy name...

OK soo...
I'm bringing a tripod to sit on..
Some scones...
I'm suiting up... *although if I can find a top hat, i'll come as a mad hatter
to the tea-party!
We can make this public right? *IE, on website?
AND, Just as an incentive, you can travel for free on Public Transport if you arrive at your destination before 7am! *Of course, you need to get a free-ticket so you can get through the barriers before your trip.

I’m still working on the flyers.... if anyone has ideas on those put them forward.
I got four small cones if that’s enough?
also a couple of friends interested
could we get the minuets up from last meeting?
We need to confirm our numbers and roles and publicise the place.
Most importantly some said to me that the parking spaces in the city don’t actual open till 9am???? could one of you city people check this out?

Sorry the minutes took ages! I've been having trouble getting onto the forum. Don't know why.
I can check the carpark times tomorrow before uni, but I'm pretty sure that it's ok.
Just to be clear, for anyone who wasn't at the meeting, we're meeting on Wiliam street, between La trobe and Lonsdale. If you're head North, we'll be on the left hand side of the road. Any trouble, or you can't see us, give me a call on 0408 518 171.
Cheers!
Rach

Re: 7th October: Carpark Picninc
i reckon we make it 7...don't want to get up too early
Also, I went and looked at astroturf. (dunno if yu lot did too) and it was $30 a meter. And a carpark is 7m long.
Any thoughts?

Re: 7th October: Carpark Picninc
i don't think astroturf is that good an idea... it's a bit silly buying something like that just for one use, especially seeing as we're preaching sustainable living
