yeah its scary, but its a really good film - great suspense...ness?, not like all the other trashy hollywood horrors (Resident Evil, Saw, The Fog, etc.)

Re: Anything
ok, this has nothing to do with the environment, but it's a good comic.

jeez, that's not fair.
you put, like, 50 stars and only 1 of everything else.
talk about picking favourites...

Chrismas
I just thought this would be a good place to continue the thread of chirsmas

it's just fuel for mad consumerists, like valentine's day, mothers day, etc, etc. von The Toad am So Nov 16, 2008 2:06 am

so you dont like chrismas? if not that makes two of us
too true people end up celebrating consumerism and maxing out the credit card not celebrating the so called "spirit of Christmas".
Santa clause as we know him, actually started off as a symbol selling cola ( a symbol for consumerism) original some generous bishop was the actually Santa “St Nikolaus”. Also Christmas is a Christian version of European pagan rituals to celebrate the middle of winter, so it’s a religious celebartion
also you need snow for Christmas,
"xmas" is the best example of American culture overpowering our own, they copy Christmas from them blindly, common Santa and his reindeers would die of heat stroke in Australia, he’s wearing a big woollen coat and probarly never heard of slip slops slap slip thingo.
Also he isn’t real......
That’s me ranting on about everyday things people enjoy

Re: Anything
i agree completely.
the only good thing about christmas is getting together with loved ones, and even that is kind of drowned out by the PRESENTS PRESENTS LET US BUY PRESENTS.
and i think we should rant on as much as we like about everyday things people enjoy.
because some things are absolutely ludicrous (like the myer windows!) and should be STOPPED.
(i feel so much better after confessing my hatred for christmas, i must be evil or something)

Re: Anything
Oh yeah, Santa used to be St. Nick and he used to wear green, but then Coke changed it and made him obese... yuck. Pepsi is better than coke.
Yeah, I think it can be okay if you celebrate it properly, like you get together with family members and stuff. I guess that that's okay.
I suppose there's all the religious aspects of it, but, well, let's just say I'm not really into religion...
It just seems like they've turned what might have previously been a nice celebration into a massive advertisement for consumerism...
Yay, Xander icon!!!
