Cinema Nova fundraiser screening

Hello all
So I contacted cinema nova about having a fundraising screening for VISEN on the 22nd January however they informed me that they don't take bookings during january because it is such a busy time of year for them. Shall we postpone until february instead?

Also for those who weren't at the meeting, the idea was to sell cinema nova tickets (group ones cost $13 each) for $20 per ticket as a fundraiser for VISEN. We were also thinking of potentially having snacks before hand or afterwards at the cinemas as part of the deal. Basically, the idea was to invite as many people as we could, friends/family/etc, to make as much as we can.

Does anybody have any film suggestions/know what is coming out soon at the cinemas? Also any suggestions for a date so that I can book in soon.

hmm, bummer about January... I guess mid feb? Maybe the 14th? Gives us two weeks of school to push it with randoms.

As for movies, I will go look some up now!

We're all set for the 12th of Feb. 6:30 (or there abouts) at the Nova. We're seeing the Changeling (movie with Angelina Jolie).

Tickets are $20, it is a fundraiser! abd there will be nibbles there. (if anyone wants to help with cooking, plz let Nagida or I know.)

Tickets HAVE to be bought in advance (the day before is the latest possible notice you can give). Again, let Nagida or I know if you want them, or go onto the facebook event. Or, post here!!

Thankyou to all who came!
We managed to raise around $200!!!
Which is pretty cool.

Hopefully we'll have another one in 4 or 5 or 6 (you get the idea!) months.
